| Marco scozzaro is an italian multidisciplinary artist based in new york. With his project l’oggetto he produces underground house music, blending jazz/funk influences with a deep italo flavor.Starting off in hardcore-punk bands in the ‘90s, he eventually embraced club culture, electronic music production, and djing. In 2020, he co-founded mkdf records to release tracks that have been lying in his studio for too long.“musica da discoteca vol.2” is the second of a series of eps exploring the musical connection between italy, chicago, detroit, and new york. Deep bass, dirty grooves, dreamy pads, and obsessive samples build up in these 4 new tracks, as an homage to underground dance music from the ‘90s. |
