| Caesura Records begins their journey through the minimal flavours of functional, colorful house music, with an emphasis on rich melody patterns, natural grooves and catchy basslines.
Dutch artist Jos Lok delivers a nostalgic, rhythmic four-track EP with warm chords, playful melodies, glitched out percussion and trippy vocals. The A-Side starts with Walco, a highly swung bassline-driven heater, moving into ThenWhen, a beautifully arranged house track with an intensely satisfying build up. The B-Side begins with This Cap, unfurling a bassline that makes liberal use of sub-bass and negative space. Waterdruppels closes out the EP, with a playful earworm melody and a positive vibe unique to Jos Lok’s music. All four tracks are club ready, appropriate for any hour of a party. |
